It examines Madison when he first entered the political spotlight and how he did not put his abilities on display. If it weren't for "Mr. Jefferson who is believed to have been the first to distinguish, and most active to bring into his country's service the superior mind of Mr. Madison" If Jefferson never pushed Madison, he service could have been lost for this nation.
